Add-on for Firefox that lets you play 2500 Nintendo games through the browser.

Can you imagine an application of just 15KB that lets you play around 2500 Nintendo games without having to download anything - not emulators, nor roms or anything? And also something completely free? Seems like a dream, but in reality it´s called FireNes, a great add-on for your Mozilla Firefox.

FireNes is created with the vNes emulator, and will be a geat surprise for those who want to enjoy the games from the Super Mario series, and also other Super Nes and Nintendo 64 games, like The Simpsons, Tiny Toon, Monopoly, etc.

To enjoy the program you just have to download the file, install it and then locate it on the Firefox panel (or doing it quicker by using Shift + Ctrl + N), then another panel will open with diverse console games in 8-bits on the left. Here you can find all your childhood games and many more.

NOTE: to enjoy the program and games you need to install Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or superior, Java 1.5 or superior, and be connected to the Internet to play, as both the emulator and the games load from the author´s website.
